Treehouse Movie Dishes Up Fail-proof Serving Of Women’s Rights

Treehouse 2019 (Into the Dark)

Episode six of twelve for #horrorallyear from Hulu reached its midpoint with episode 6. “Treehouse” a horror movie on Hulu 2019, was written and directed by James Roday Rodriguez famed for Psych (2006.) James’s co-writer was Todd Harthan. Starring roles for the “Treehouse” episode are again bountiful in offering up seasoned and well-known performers into suitable parts of the Into the Dark series. Here we have Jimmi Simpson (who I last saw in Under the Silver Lake (2018) but most will remember him from the Black Mirror episode USS Callister.) Additionally, Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Nancy Linehan Charles (American Horror Stories) also star.

The Treehouse episode horror movie of 2019 was masterfully crafted with International Women’s Day in mind. This American holiday, celebrated on March 8th, provided the perfect backdrop for a horror-fueled narrative, infused with the spirit of the #metoo movement. The film explores various facets of women’s rights, delving deep into the dark and sinister aspects of the theme. The story blends the power of sisterhood with a chilling quest for justice. Formidable women who are not afraid to dish out some well-deserved life lessons. S01 E06 Treehouse is a stylish and empowering journey, where revenge takes center stage. The title showcases the undeniable strength and resilience of women, proving that sometimes, a well-executed plan can be the ultimate game-changer.

Celebrity Chef Gone Bad in The Treehouse

Simpson’s Peter Rake truly shines in more ways than one. His role as a celebrity chef delivers mixed feelings towards his gaslighting and confident role. Leaving a lasting impression throughout the first half of the episode, it’s hard not to develop a genuine affinity towards this character.

What I adored about this story was how Peter’s attitudes, behavior, excuses, and poor judgment were laid out so clearly. It brought to the forefront society’s incredible power to bring about change. Whenever I catch up on the news, read an actionable story, or witness my beloved directors and actors being engulfed in the sordid chaos of alleged or proven misconduct, I can’t help but yearn for different outcomes for some of them. Without delving into the intricacies of politics, I’m sure you understand exactly what I mean.

Not Angry Bitches, Angry Witches

The story follows Peter as he prepares for a wedding and reunion with family members. Small sexist and telling anecdotes are revealed along with signs that something within the women in this family is brewing. As Peter downs a few glasses of booze while cooking for the group, the jokes that he tells and his attitude towards females and their rights become more and more telling. Not only that but the mention of Celtic tattoo and sisterhood become telltale signals that something sinister is afoot, and Peter has walked into the middle of whatever storm is brewing.

The narrative flips gears swiftly and doesn’t leave many stones unturned as accusations of Peters’ crimes are listed. Sexual harassment, assault, unequal wages, and suicide by an ex-girlfriend all become ammunition for the price Peter pays.

Another Layer of Excitement: Breaking Free from the Mold

One of the great things about this episode is that, while it follows a revenge-style formula, it manages to break away from it as well. It surprises you, like a delightful moment of “cha-ching,” just when you thought you were in for the usual run-of-the-mill storyline. This episode takes you on an unexpected ride that sets it apart from anything you may have seen before.

Although the elements might not be wholly unique, they are skillfully employed in a way that breathes fresh air into the narrative. It’s like encountering familiar puzzle pieces rearranged into an entirely different picture. The result is a story that feels both nostalgic and innovative, offering a sense of comfort while simultaneously thrilling your senses.

So, buckle up and enjoy this episode’s unique spin on getting revenge. Get ready to be caught off guard and engage with a tale that subverts expectations, enriching your viewing experience.

At the end of the day, the Treehouse movie on Hulu takes a topic that is constantly on everyone’s faces these days.
